Flame 7, Pīrooz /Āzādan
Master of Time and Self
Die, die in this love, die.
In dying to this love, the soul becomes whole.
Die, die, fear not this death,
For from the dust you shall rise,
and the vast universe shall be yours. " Rumi"

The Initiation
The seventh flame is Pīrooz, Victory, also called Āzādan, the Free Ones.
It is the summit of the Path, the flame of completion, where the seeker transcends every bond and stands as sovereign of self. Pīrooz means victory, not conquest over others, but the triumph of inner freedom, the return of the spirit to its own eternal authority.
Here rises the black flame, the fire beyond fire the Saturnian flame of Kayvān, which strips away the final traces of attachment, identity, and time. Upon the mountain peak, the seeker sits upon the throne of sovereignty, no longer bound by illusion, but abiding in pure presence.
In alchemy, this is the stage of Coagulation, the Philosopher’s Stone, where matter and spirit, self and cosmos, are united as one eternal body. In Mithraism, it corresponds to the Pater, the Father, the highest initiatory grade, keeper of the cosmic and zodiacal mysteries. In the Sufi way, it is fanā’, the annihilation of the self into the ocean of the Divine, from which only truth remains.
The symbols of this flame are the black fire, the throne, and the high mountain. Its planet is Kayvān (Saturn), and its element is Fire joined with Ether. The colors are purple and white, the hues of transcendence, detachment, and authority.
The music of this flame is heard in Māhur and Bayāt-e Esfahān, solemn, majestic modes that carry the resonance of completion and timelessness. Its frequencies are 963 Hz (divine consciousness, crown chakra activation) and 528 Hz(renewal, harmony of life), vibrating together as a hymn of transcendence and unity.
The initiation is marked by ritual silence, fasting, and cosmic meditation, where the seeker dissolves into the vastness. Here, the cycle closes: what began as the Fool’s flight in Pāridan ends as the Sovereign’s liberation in Pīrooz.
To walk this flame is to embody the Liberated One, victorious, free, beyond time and self. A being who no longer seeks, for they have become the flame itself: eternal, radiant, unbound.
