The Initiation

The fifth flame is Parybanu. The lady of the lake, the sacred initiation into the Divine Feminine mystery. In ancient Iran, seekers partook of a ritual drink, an elixir used in ceremonies to open the gates of the inner womb of creation. This was not for escape but for union, to drink was to enter the mystery of the feminine source, the place of healing, intuition, and transformation.

In this flame, the seeker encounters three great symbols:

  • The ritual drink, sacrament of opening.

  • The white-winged horse, a shamanic guide across realms, carrying the soul into vision.

  • The owl, guardian of silence, who sees in darkness and teaches wisdom hidden from the ordinary eye.

Here, the kundalini awakens, the subtle body stirs, and the hidden self rises to meet the Divine Feminine. This is not passive softness but fierce receptivity,  the power of the womb, the current of healing that can dissolve shadow and birth new life.

In alchemy, this stage is Projection / Luna, the moonlight that reflects and multiplies the inner gold. In Mithraism, it corresponds to the Mother and Priestess, keeper of sacred fire and initiator into mysteries of fertility and death. In Sufi tradition, it is the inner feminine rahbariyat, the secret guidance of the soul through love and intuition.

The music of this flame flows through the mode of Navā, a haunting scale often used for inward journeys, combined with Chāpgook, evoking trance and ecstatic states. Its frequencies, 417 Hz (clearing past trauma) and 639 Hz (harmonizing relationships, awakening compassion), attune the body and spirit to the embrace of the feminine current.

The initiation is experienced through ritual drink, tantric practice, trance journey, dream work, and ecstatic vision. To step into Parybanu is to enter the womb of transformation to be unmade and remade, to ride the winged horse into the unseen, to be guided by the owl through shadow into wholeness.

To walk this flame is to embody the Priestess: healer, dreamer, and guardian of the eternal feminine, who reminds the soul that all life is born from the womb of love.
